As an artist/scholar, with nearly 50 years of experience, I have directed more than 60 productions in the U.K., South Africa and the U.S.A. I have written extensively on women and the role of gender in theatre, having published 2 books, and edited numerous essays and articles. Currently I am the Artistic Director of Palindrome Productions, a London-based theatre company.
